  Stopped here for a quick bite on our way to San Antonio from Houston. I was very impressed with the food and the service. The burgers are fantastic and they had an impressive buffet that looked delicious! I would definitely stop again if I'm in the area!

  Servers are friendly, as are the customers. They have done a recent renovation, adding larger restrooms and larger waiting area. Food is very good, although one recent visit I felt the meat dishes on the buffet were a bit salty. I mentioned this to the manager and was told they would correct it.
  Breakfast options are very good. There is a buffet on weekends and you can always order from the menu (breakfast, lunch, or supper). There is a lunch buffet 7 days a week. Supper buffet Fri, Sat, & Sun. During Lent, Friday's buffet always has Fried Catfish. If ordering from the menu, there is a good selection of home-cooked German meals, as well as sandwiches and burgers. The grilled pork chops feature 2 one inch thick chops grilled perfectly. For vegetarians, try the wonderful salad bar, and the fresh cooked vegetables on the buffet.
  Moderate to expensive for this area. But a very good value.

  Lunch time buffet had good selection of salads, main course and desserts. Vegetables were a bit over cooked as in most similar restaurants. Good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices.
