  This is a Veteran owned family establishment that has an interesting choice for wall decor, good food at a decent price. I like that the owner who is in his 90's still comes to work in his establishment...very impressive. I would recommend stopping in for a bite to eat. Meat is tasty and the sides are plentiful.

  I learned that each Mikeska's is different. This one was different in a way that I did not like. After every BBQ meal, I question whether I would bring a friend from out of Texas to that establishment to show off what Texas has to offer. This was not such a place. I did enjoy meeting the owner when I walked in and he seemed super nice, so I hope the locals continue to support his establishment. However, I will not.

  Great BBQ! Stopped in on our way to Comfort. Great service, friendly people, and the owner even greeted us and gave our daughter a silver dollar. He had a pocket full and was passing them out to other children.
  The chicken was moist and juicy, the sausage was full of flavor and the veggies were downright home cooking at its best. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for home style cooking.
